Celebrities and jet-setters love the French Riviera for many reasons, and we will discover each of them through this 13 days glamorous program. We start with two nights in Marseille, France’s second-largest city that borders the beautiful Calanques National Park. Then, thoroughly indulge yourselves in the best of Côte d’Azur as we hop from one seaside town to another, from St Tropez to Antibes, Cannes, and Nice. Finally, enjoy our last three nights in Monaco with a side trip across the border to discover sleepy medieval villages on the Italian Riviera that inspired the likes of Claude Monet.
Welcome to Marseille, Provence’s capital and an exuberant port city with a melting pot of many different cultures. Enjoy the first day taking on all the city’s charm at your own pace. A great place to start is the Vieux Port, where mast and sails lined up together with trendy restaurants. Further south, climb to the top of Notre Dame de la Garde to enjoy breathtaking views and settle down at Vallon des Auffes for gastronomic experiences. Also not to be missed is The Mucem, a modern cultural and historical museum devoted to the civilizations of the Mediterranean.
Channel your inner racer spirit by driving on the Paul Ricard circuit, either on the driving center technical route or the actual Formula One track. Alongside a professional instructor, hop into your dream car, learn the basic technique and slowly accelerate as you circuit the laps. While brief, the experience guarantees maximum adrenaline rush and an unforgettable moment of emotion for speed enthusiasts.
A short 30-minute drive will take you to Cassis, a charming fishing village known for its pebbly beaches, rose wines, and superb dining scenes. Enjoy an exquisite lunch before approaching your private boat by the harbor. We will spend our afternoon at sea exploring the beauty of Calanques National Park and discovering gorgeous creeks, caves, and isles, such as the En-Vau, Port-Pin, Oule, Sugiton, and many more.
Celebrities’ backyards and jet-setters paradise, St Tropez has long been the epicenter of the French Riviera dating back to the 1950s. Have all the glamor around this tiny village, sip a cocktail at one of Pampelonne beach’s fanciest beach clubs, shop at some of the fashion world’s heaviest hitters, or dine at Louis Vuitton’s first standalone eatery. We will provide a comprehensive guide to the latest events, local highlights, and things that are happening during your visit to St Tropez
Leaving St Tropez behind, we will chart a course for our private yacht cruise to Cannes. From the classic and stylish Italian Riva to superfast and sporty Pershing and Sunseekers, we will help you select the one that matches your personality. En route, we will drop our anchor at two superb Islands off Cannes, Sainte-Honorat, and Sainte-Marguerite, for some relaxing swimming, snorkeling, and strolling hours.
Shift the spotlight to Cannes and spend an afternoon exploring the celebrity-filled seaside town. First thing, we walk the La Croisette, a three-kilometers promenade by the sea where you can find designer bars, couture shops, and Palace that hosts the annual Film Festival. You can find more designer stores behind the promenade, along Rue d’Antibes street, or venture out to Suquet Hills to see the softer sides of Cannes, the old fishing port, and a 12th-century castle turned into an antique museum
At the small medieval village of Saint Paul de Vence, discover a remarkable cave wine cellar dating back to the 14th century. Walk down two-level below the street level with your host to find a stellar wine collection kept at a constant room temperature and under special lighting without heat. Then, head to the tasting room to enjoy fine Provencal wines, some coming from sustainable agriculture and biodynamic farming.
Journey into the world of a Maître-Parfumeur in Grasse and uncover the secret behind the iconic French perfumes. Under the guidance of a master perfumer, compose your unique fragrance with personal notes with different base products and techniques used to associate them. Take your creation home while the lab stores your unique formula in a safe database for future re-order.
Nice stands out among other cities in the Côte d’Azur with its long heritage, from the first Greek discovery to the France-Italy exchange and winter surge of English Aristocrats. Take your electric bikes and start wandering around the city with a private guide. We will enjoy panoramic views from the Castle hills, ride past the Garibaldi and Massena place, and stop at Cours Saleya Market to taste local street food.
Through a short introductory tour, let an expert guide show you some of Monaco’s most precious museums and monuments. A few iconic sites include the Casino of Monte Carlo, the gardens, the Rock (the oldest part of Monaco), the changing of the guard, and the Grand Prix circuit. At the end of the tour, head to Hotel de Paris for a cold drink on the cafe’s terrace or enjoy gastronomic cuisine by the one and only Alain Ducasse
Take a cross-border day trip from the French to the Italian Riviera while stopping to see some of the dreamiest villages of Liguria. A short 30-minute ride will take you to the border, from where we will drive inland toward the remote villages on Nervia Valley. Some of those villages are inspirational for the famous painter Claude Monet, including Dolceacqua and its old humpback bridge, which makes our first stop.
Nearby, the Apricale is just as lovely, with murals painted over medieval houses by artists from all over Italy. Next, we will discover the Bordighera from one of Monet’s most iconic paintings and drive back across the border to our final destination, Menton. Take some time to explore this pastel-colored seaside town before enjoying an exquisite farewell dinner at one of France’s top Michelin-starred tables.
